We believe that children learn best when they are happy, well cared for and secure in themselves. Relationships within school are therefore based upon mutual respect, both between adults and children and between the children themselves.
We keep the focus on the positive aspects of the children's lives and all adults working in the school are expected to show the children respect and to model a purposeful and enthusiastic approach to everything we do. We expect everyone to take responsibility for his or her actions, learning and behaviour. In a culture of high expectations, we provide the children with a wide range of challenging learning opportunities.
We value the partnership between school and home. In order to support parents and children, a variety of opportunities are planned to gather and share information about the children and to provide support for parents. We believe that children are most successful when home and school work together.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school. Ms Samantha Green, our Deputy Headteacher, or I will always be happy to meet with you.
