Autumn 1- Our local area
This half term, we have been learning about our local area and the people within it that can help us!
We began by looking at the human and physical features around us and thinking about the differences you might see in a town in comparison to the countryside. We then went on a walk around our local area and visited the Post Office to post a letter home.
Later in the half term, we learnt about the people within our town that can help us. We were lucky enough to have both a nurse and two PSCOs visit us. We felt so excited to learn about how these people can keep us safe and enjoyed exploring all the equipment they owned. We were even able to sit in a police car!
