Get out of my swamp!
To start year 1, one of the activities we have been doing is creating art work out of natural materials, like Andy Goldsworthy. This became so much fun for the children, as they had to explore to find their own materials, look at art work from Andy Goldsworthy, and then recreate their own picture. They did a fantastic job!
In our topic, we also made ourselves some scary troll masks, and then had to organise the Three Billy Goats Gruff story! We had so much fun becoming the trolls and creating the mask!
In computing, we have been focusing on BeeBots. We have been thinking about how to use them, how to create a programme, and how to teach others into how to use our BeeBots. We started by creating our maps, using our favourite places and putting them on the map. We then started to start at one place, and moved to our other favourite place with our BeeBots.
