In Squirrels, we have started to learn about the Victorians. We started by learning about all the differences between now and the victorian times. The children were shocked to see the different desks they had! We started to think about the key games the children in victorian times played (if they werent at work!) and Squirrels class started to create these for their friends - they definitely prefer their games they have now!
We then worked hard to show off all of our knowledge by making a victorian museum. This included making schools, desks, playgrounds and chalkboards out of junk modelling, showing off some maths adding on a chalk board, wearing some victorian clothes and talking all about Queen Victoria. Not only did the Squirrels make some amazing items, they managed to talk to everyone in our museum amazingly.
