Can you write a sentence using 1 of the real words?

Follow the link to play - buried treasure- phase 3 - ear sounds

Maths - weights and measuring.

Today we are using words to describe the weight of objects.

Make your own home made balance scales. We are going to explore and talk about the mass of objects.

Collect different objects from around your home. Use your home made scales to find the heaviest object.

Can you  order the objects from heaviest to lightest?

Can you find 2 objects that ae equal in mass?

Are the largest objects always the heavier than smaller objects?

If the balance scale is down, what does that tell us?

If the balance scale is up, what does that tell us?

can you estimate which object is heavier? How do you know? How will this shown in the weighing scales?

Topic: we have read lots of books this half term. I know that you have some great stories and books at home too.

I would like to know about your favourite book.
