For our history unit, we learned about the Ancient Greeks and their civilisation.
Through our history lessons, we were able to develop our knowledge about the lifestyle of the people, the gods and the different building which we still see around today.
At the beginning of the unit, we did not know much about the gods, but by the end, we had found out some fascinating facts.
Did you know?
- Zeus was the king of all gods and controlled the weather.
- Hephaestus, who was rather ugly, was married to the goddess Aphrodite.
- Hades was the god of the underworld.
