Welcome back Rabbits - You all did a great job yesterday. Today we have a  Pirate theme day.

PHONICS

Today you are going to prcatise your spelling skills. Log in to purple mash and click reading and writing.

Here you will find spelling games: seaside spellings is where you'll need to listen a drag the missing sound into place.

Writing: If I were a pirate.

Today you can draw yourself as a pirate or use the pirate dress up in purple mash to write a description of you as a pirate. We will use our describing words  and the joining word 'and' like yesterday. Today our challenge is to use some good pirate words.

MATHS

Today in our maths is all about using directional words to help the pirates find their lost treasure.

Play this game to practise your skills - you might even map your own map!!

READING

Today I would like you to first read and then listen to the story book you choose before you play the 2 activities.

choose your colour band: so you can sound out and read the words  with little help form your adults.

On the back of your school reading book is a colour band - this will help you choose the book that is best for you, under the levels drop down.

This is the user name and pass word for the site, if you've not been here before.

TOPIC

Today we will learn a simple sea song so we can make our own instruments to sing along to.

Using items from around the home - lets make some shakers and tappers to play and sing along.
