The Bad Tempered Ladybird

By Eric CarlePublished by Puffin

Writing:

You can listen to the story again in your own time. Think carefully about the order of the story.

Have a go at creating a story map - can you remember the times the bad tempered ladybird met each animal?

Challenge: Can you draw a picture of a different animal that the bad tempered ladybird could meet? Using the same words as the story create a new page for the book -

At 10 o'clock it met a pig.

"Hey you" said the ladybird.

"Want to fight?"

"If you want" said the big pink pig showing his curly tail.

"Oh! you're not big enough" said the bad tempered ladybird.
