Letters and Sounds
We are thinking about the oo diagraph.
There are 12 picture cards - 6 with the long oo sounds and 6 with the short oo sound. Pick three from each and write the words. Try and put the sausage and bean under to identify the the different phonemes.
What else can you think of with the short and long oo sounds. draw them in your book.
Maths
Using an old magazine/ leaflet or catalogue cut the pictures out, and then cut them in half. You can stick these in your book.
Here are some half activities that you can try at home. We have started the 1st together. have a try at some of these. They do get more challenging.
