Spring 1 - Great Fire of London

In Spring 1, we enjoyed learning about the Great Fire of London. We began by helping the King's baker, Thomas Farriner, make some bread. While we worked safely to make our bread, we learnt that on the 2nd September in 1666, Thomas wasn't so lucky. It is believed that he forgot to sweep out his oven, causing a fire to start that eventually would blaze across much of London. Rabbits learnt about how the fire swept through the city and the many factors that caused it to spread so quickly and for so long. Towards the end of our learning, we created a whole class dance inspired by the fire.
