During the Spring term, Rabbits have been learning about different modes of transport, what makes a port and about the dangers/risks of travelling by sea. Rabbits have really enjoyed learning about the different vessels and ships that you might see on the sea. They got to explore their own local port, Portsmouth, they got to see different parts of the port and discuss why they are important for a port to work successfully. We learned that Portsmouth is a naval and passenger port. They got to use more of their map skills to think about transport about Portsmouth.
In DT, we got to explore different types of packaging and their purposes. Rabbits thought about what successful packaging would be and how they would create their own packaging style or design for The Bear from The Boy, The Bear and The Boat.
