School Days

We have been busy this term learning all about the Victorians. We began by finding out lots of fun facts about the Victorians and acting them out to show the class. Once we found out some facts, the children were really keen to go and learn in a Victorian school, which is exactly what we did! We went on a trip to a real life Victorian school, which the children found out was completely different to our school now. Children learnt how to write their name in cursive writing on a chalk board, they were able to dress up as Victorian children did, and learnt a hymn that Victorian children had to sing. The immersive experience saw the Hedgehogs being taught a lesson exactly as the children in Victorians were taught.
