There are lots of online resources, games and activities which can support your child's learning whilst they are at home. Below is a list of websites which you may find useful.

General resources
  • BBC bitesize Daily English and Maths 'lessons' are uploaded here as well as a range of already existing activities and games to support the National Curriculum.
  • Purple Mash Free to register while schools are closed, this site has a range of exciting games and activities to suport the whole National Curriculum.
Phonics
  • Phonics Play This site has a wide range of games to practise phonics sounds for year R, 1, and 2 children.
  • Phonics Bloom A range of interactive games to help children practise their phonics.
  • Education.com This site is free to register and has some fun games to practise reading phonics sounds.
  • Monster Phonics This site has some good activities to help your child learn a phonics sound they might not know.
  • Family Learning Free phonics games to develop phonic knowledge and skills.
English - reading and writing
  • Audible All children's audio books are available for free while schools are closed.
  • Authorfy This site is free to join - the ten minute challenges set by real authors are great!
  • Book Trust Not sure what to read next - this website is great for recommendations.
  • Classroom Secrets If you have access to a printer, these home learning packs have a wide variety of activities for each year group.
  • Crick web Suitable for Year 3 and above, this is a selection of 20 english games including grammar, spellings, stories and instructions.
  • Pobble 365 This site releases a daily picture to inspire thinking and writing.
  • Spelling Fun A range of spelling games to be used with all ages.
  • Spelling zone Select your year group and then the curriculum word list to find a range of games to help you practise your spellings.
  • Topmarks English Select your key stage to find a range of appropriate activities for reading, writing and spelling.
Maths

  • Super Movers Vidoes which get children moving while they learn.
  • #ThisIsPE Produced by the Association of Physical Education, these videos are taught by real PE teachers.
  • PE with Joe Wicks Joe Wicks has a selection of workout sessions specially adapted for kids.
