Robin's Remarkable Circus Show! - Fri 15 Feb 2013

During today the whole school community were treated to one of the most amazing shows on earth, there were clowns, jugglers, plate spinners and animals all introduced by a ring master!

The Robin's Remarkable Circus company presented their astounding show to the children this morning and then to a specially invited audience of parents and friends in the afternoon. The clowns were hysterical and the plate spinners very daring and flamboyant! The ringmaster kept everything under control, even the circus animals!

After the show the Robins explained all about the work they had done after reading "Mr. Nobody's Eyes" by Michael Morpurgo including poems, circus adverts and a debate about whether animals should be in a circus or not. The invited audience voted overwhelmingly in favour of not!

Popcorn and soft drinks were sold after the event raising money for the class. Here are some pictures of a very memorable afternoon - well done Robins!
